In Breisach, Kleyling began to
turn towards road transport.
An office building with a cargo-
handling facility in the basement
and a direct rail connection had
already been built in 1972, right
next to the former Breisach
freight railway station. A second
facility was added to the
premises fairly soon. Another
facility was bought nearby, and
additional warehouse space
rented. There is still enough
space left on the large property
for other interesting projects.
What is noteworthy about this
location is its handling capacity
for transhipment of rail to truck
and vice versa, with interim
storage options in a warehouse.
